It has been years since The Friends’ last episode. Lots of fans from all over the world continued to request repeatedly for a reunion show. And it seems that won’t be long from now.
The Friends reunion special is apparently about to begin its production soon as HBO Max will make it happen.
Can you expect the core cast to be there? Of course! Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, Perry, LeBlanc, and Schwimmer will go back to its initial soundstage within the Warner Bros. Studio lot.
HBO Max did not release further details or comments on the project. David Schwimmer did share some information while in an interview on The Graham Norton Show.
Schwimmer, 54, revealing as little as he could in the interview, stated that they’d be as themselves and won’t be in character.
“There’s nothing scripted, we’re not in character.”
It’s been seventeen years since the show wrapped up.
The American sitcom aired for 10 seasons from 1994 up to 2004 on NBC. The initial announcement about the reunion special was last year February. However, due to the current situation from COVID-19, it will be delayed indefinitely.
