TWICE releases their comeback MV entitled “Alcohol-Free” from their newest mini-album, “Taste of Love” last June 09, 2021.
“Alcohol-Free” is the title track for this comeback, and it’ll make you drunk with love!
JYP Entertainment CEO and producer Park Jin Young explain the musical concept behind “Alcohol-Free,” which TWICE’s Dahyun also shared in their Music Bank introduction.
Here is the English translation provided by SOOMPI:
“A summer song that fuses bossa nova and hip hop genres, and it is about the magical moment of falling in love.
The catchy chorus includes names of sweet wines and cocktails that listeners can easily sing along with.
The percussion instruments and nylon guitar in the background add a Latin groove to the song, and this is reflected in the choreography as well.”
The concept is perfect for the summer as the vibe is stunningly bright and refreshing. The song is addicting and gives the cool and chill feel that you’ll need in the summer heat.
As part of their global promotions, TWICE lights up and fills “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” with bossa nova summer vibes.
It is the first time for the super girl group to appear on the famous American talk show. The group danced and sang on the virtual stage.
